Epoch Greensboro – New Family Settlement

Our ministry to immigrant families in Greensboro began as an ESL ministry, and quickly expanded to include other types of practical helps.

Most these families are coming into the U.S. for the first time. They are literally dropped off at their new apartment and expected to integrate easily into the culture of Greensboro.

This is not easy to say the least. So we saw this as an opportunity to show the love of Christ assisting families with things that are simple to us.

We helped them navigate through government services systems, job applications, and other things like local schools and shopping, and more.

Just our presence there as a helping hand went a long way – we learned right away – to helping our new friends get established here.
